Hope you like it.

I really like what you did with your dagger. Beautiful colors and lines. Exciting! Brash!

Few makers take risk in design these days. Its demanding! It makes your head hurt. Its easier to craft the widely accepted and do it well.

You have a fine talent, Patrice don't give it too much rest.

Do you have a sheath in mind?

Fred

I agree with Fred. I think it is great that you are pushing the design envelope. Nice job. Todd

now, my thought is, 'how the hell did you come up with that?' There's gotta be a story here.

Thanks for the great compliments guys, much appreciated.

Fred, I realize that I am lucky to do this as a hobby so that I have time to explore more. I just need you guys to make sure I don't explore too much and get lost out there. ;)

Lorien, I would love to have a great story behind the inspiration but it is simply from looking at books with some Art Nouveau sculptures, architecture and such. Some great inspiration to be found there, organic and alive.

pics or it didn't happen

Lorien, I don't think anybody wants to see pics of me reading. :p

I was asked for pics of other angles so here are a few. One with a darker background that I also like.

I'm very interested to see pics of some of the types of things which inspired your design, is all:).

Lorien, that may involve mind altering substances...we're not sure you could tolerate the doses that might be required to attain the imaginative state of mind Patrice seem to thrive in naturally!

hey, I all for mind altering substances! (I think this knife is one...)

Sorry Lorien, most of it was from books at the bookstore since I don't have enough play money to buy some of the nicest ones. But any art nouveau search on the internet can show you the basis for it. I must say I did not research this particular art period extensively so this is very loosely based.

Thanks again for the good words and Phil is right, my mind IS altered. He just has a nicer way to say it. ;)
