Hello Guys! Some of you may have seen the Yataghan I had at the Blade Show this year, without handle (thank you american custons!). Well, I finally put a new handle on it, and would like to show you. The original walrus handle was made in one day, this new on ebony took me more than a week, but I found it worth the effort. I finish it to the Knife show I organize here, in Nova Petropolis, next weekend. Here's the description:
Full integral Yataghan completely forged in turkish damascus, with 23" blade and 29" overall lenght. The blade is fullered on both sides, and the collar section is hand filed. The handle high relief carved ebony, with 18K gold dots. The leather sheath is covered with ostrigh skin, and has turkish damascus integral fittings.
Thank's for looking.
Cheers!
