With Russell Brand as Arthur?

:barf: I'll be sure to skip this one. I didn't "watch" his stand-up on Comedy Central as much as I stared at it like a train wreck.

Its bad enough that they're remaking Drop Dead Fred with Brand in the lead role. Now this? Have they no shame? :confused:
 
I'm not sure that the concept of a funny drunk (even with the final redemption) would be seen as all that funny now. Also, the original was hysterical and Dudley Moore was perfect as the lovable Arthur. I don't see any way that Russel Brand could ever pull that off.
