Here'a a big shout-out to the makers and show promoters who find creative ways to foster an atmosphere of mutual respect and appreciation in which their customers will thrive.

Putting up a serious collaboration piece for raffle or drawing at an event sends the right message. Tom Ferry, Jon Christensen, Michael Rader, David Lisch and Mike Vagnino - the aces behind Artisans of Cutlery and their recent ACE3 show made this then gave it away! Collector Jon Klein was the lucky guy.

this is a real beauty, and much "lighter" in feel than you might think. I think this a great tradition these guys have started !:thumbup:

WoW Great photo Buddy thanks for posting it I enjoyed working on this Sword it is light and fast I had the chance to dance with it when it was done too much fun. congrats to Jon for the lucky draw and thanks to all the collectors and supporters of the ACE show it was a blast.

Congrats on the new sword Jon. Its everything I expected and more from one of the finest knife teams ever. Those guys are making history together.

Buddy as always I really appreciate the great photo.

The ACE crew are extremely talented and put on one great event. Since I never win anything I have to say I thought they were kidding when my name was called. I really enjoy these smaller shows and have been committed to attending theirs on an annual basis. However, this certainly put the icing on the cake for me. It truly is one heck of a show of appreciation they have for their collectors and they really do appreciate each and every one. I highly recommend checking them all out.

Thanks to all five maker's for putting in such a fine effort. This is by no means a piece that was just thrown together. It is a fine work of craftsmanship and I feel extremely fortunate to be the lucky winner.

Jon

congratulations Jon, I can think of no other patron of custom cutlery more deserving!
