Great idea for a thread! love the first pic with the map. At work now but might pick up the DSLR over the weekend and contribute.

Awesome, look forward to seeing what you come up with. My daughter and I are planning on dragging some gear out to the local part and shooting some more. I'll post them up once we get around to doing that.
 
This is about as artsy fartsy as I get... all my other pics have bloody meat or some such thing in them...

Rick those pics are great! As soon as I saw the thread title I knew you'd have a few corkers to add. I did however get an odd chill when I saw them and thought "what's going on there?". Then I saw your post count. 666. Ooooh!

Will try and get some artsy fartsy to add myself..

That has always been my problem with knives and guns... not playing with them before I get a chance to photograph them. I usually end up having to scrub at them before taking photos to clean off whatever mess I got on them prior to getting to the camera. :)
