Tat question is too vague. What you do in private via email or Pm is your business. If it gets posted in a thread and it's a clear violation of the rules, then the will be issues to deal with. So long as you don't skirt the rules, you're fine. There is no membership level that is above reproach.

Thank you very much. Still just a little confused. What areas may I ask in? I am not sure where non members can go.
 
You have a paid membership. You can ask in any discussion forum. Just find one that discusses the kind of knife you're talking about.
