We each have our favorites, but for me the Case Baby Butterbean CV is as good as it gets. Looks sweet, disappears in the watch pocket of your jeans, and cuts like a big knife. And some patina on that CV will only make it better.

I'm very fond of this pattern. It replaced the peanuts I used to carry in my watch pocket.

I gave my wife one in the dark red bone, and she loved it until it went missing. I just wish Case would produce them in the yellow delrin again.

I wish CASE would make their standard Canoe with the same long pulls and swedged blades. I love the BBB except when doing a lot of whittling or cutting the handle is small, but for a small cary I love them. Nice knife you got there BTW!

Love those Baby Butterbeans. Definitely one of the best slicers Case makes.

Did the CV only come in the Yellow?

That is a nice canoe. Mine has the thinner blades, no swedge, and the short pulls. I still like it, those thin blades really slice, and rides in the pocket with no notice.

At lunch I sliced a block of Colby cheese and a green onion and intentionally did not clean the blade for a few minutes. It already started to catch a very slight patina.

Yellow Derlin and chrome vanadium is a killer combination in any pattern but that butter bean just sets apart from the rest.

Here's another Baby Butterbean, with its distant cousin the Queen #64 Canoe in D2.

And an art nouveau black and white rendering. The ladies dig this stuff, you know.

Also fond of the BBB. Have one in red bone and another in stag. Both SS, not CV though. That Yeller and CV one you got sure is perty!

Hard to find that Yellow one these days. The Bonestag looks really nice too, well shown!
