As seen on TV - They got me!

I think I remember Jerry posting a thread a while ago about buying things off TV, well just now I bought a stupid hose. I don't want to advertise for it so I won't say the name but the hose starts off small and crumply, sort of like a huge hair scrunchy, then when you turn it on it grows out while the water go through it. The thing unfurling looks really funky which is mostly why I bought it, I figured it would be a fun toy for the kids, plus they need their own hose for their water toys. It also supposedly squeezes back down and gets most of the water out of itself which is kinda cool.

Can't think of how to relate this to knives... I've been beating the hell out of my KZ II on a log that's kinda over by where the faucet is where I'll hook up the hose when I get it. There you go, 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon

I just seen the same commercial and thought that hose was pretty darn cool! I told my wife we should buy one and she said "only an idiot would buy that thing!" So congrats on your score idiot! Just kidding! I would buy one in minute if i knew my better half wouldn't freak out!

I resemble that remark lol The benefit to my situation is there's no one around to tell me not to spend my money on silly things. I hardly buy things on tv, the only other thing I did was one of those miniature r/c helicopters which actually turned out of be a lot of fun though delicate. As long as you don't buy the extra crap that triples your shipping and handling charges I don't see why not. I read some reviews before I purchased it on-line, like hell if I'm going to be sold off a tv commercial.

I don't know why I posted here, I gout a laugh out of it. There's no Bussecombat.com forum anymore and I don't belong to any other social groups, so...

I also bought a mini RC heli at the mall! My wife was so pissed! My dogs hate it and I flew into the ceiling fan on its maiden voyage.
