it's cold out and the urge to hunt is strong.

ASAT is one of my favorite all-time camouflages.

i sprayed these new Gen 1 Mk 5 hawks with UV Blocker acrylic over the Snake Skin finish.

they look great in person. they work too - those ASAT guys have a point - i already set the hawks down and lost them once today.

the camera makes the rough Snake Skin look dark, and the smooth head look light, but they look about the same in person. great camo. great break-up.

(left to right; ) 20.5 inches and 23 inches in length.
24 ounces on the left, 26 ounces on the right (fully accessorized, minus about two ounces without the caps and paracord wraps).

- the Mark V's are still in development, i have added some ballast-ounces to the ends to give them more strike, so i think they feel a bit different than their Gen 1 Mk 4 predecessors. really neat feeling, i don't really know how better to put it. ya ever just pick up a tool that is similar to one you've held and used all your life and it just feels improved? that's what these Mk V BUG hawks do to me.

chloroprene protective plugs are standard.

the plugs friction lock in, and encapsulate whatever you choose to store in the .50 caliber Through Tube.
