asat trousers?

I'm looking for some field trousers. Temperate climate, year round/3 seasons.

I like a lot ASAT camo for wildlife watching.
I generally prefer poly-cotton blend trousers, but apparently they only sell either 100% cotton or 100% polyester.
Drying wise, I'd generally rather lean toward the polyester version but it is more expensive and polyester is generally more likely to get burns when being around fire and cotton is generally a bit tougher.
On the other end, they claim they use some miracle water-repelling treatment on their cotton version.

Anyone has tried any of those? Any opinions.

Polyester:

I have not tried the ASAT camo but I did watch a promotional video on it. I thought the pattern was just amazing. I think they need to bring their prices down. I have never met anyone actually wearing it. If I could just find it used or on sale somewhere.

When I've bought direct from ASAT, materials have been hit and miss because they outsource over-seas (As it states on their site "Made in P.R.C"; AKA "The Peoples Republic of China"). Fading and problematic stitching have been things I encountered at times, and other times the stuff has been fine. Sort of a roll of the dice.

You might look into http://www.dayonecamouflage.com/; they offere several different fabrics including saddlecloth/bucksuede and wool in ASAT. www.clarkfieldoutdoors.com is another source, but I don't know what their prices are like. No matter what, good quality fabric is going to cost $$.
