ASH-1 / Hell Razor / BATAC comparison

I lined these three up where the slabs meet the ricasso, so you can see how much longer/shorter each is compared to the other. Unfortunately the perspective is off here because the HR blade is a good 3/8" to 1/2" longer than the ASH-1 SE.

Food for thought. Come on, ASH-1s.
 
Excellent contrast pick MM! Thank you. Only problem I have with it is that it makes me want to more more ASH1's :eek:
 
Cool. I was just wondering about this exact comparison combo. Could I bother you to show their width's. Are they all the same width? Are the blade shapes of the Badger and ASH the same/very similar? Thanks for posting this.
 
Thanks I was wondering about those standard scales. They seem even thinner than I thought they were. I am glad I ordered the mags. Thanks again

the ASH SE is .22. BATAC and HR are .183
 
hmmm. i really need to get me an ASH SE. i wouldn't like mags and i like the .22 thickness. now all i need is money . . . .

HR: L- 6 7/8"; Max W- 1 3/4". ASH-1 SE: L- 6 7/16"; W- 1 7/8". BATAC: L- 5 3/8"; W- 1 9/16". The tip on the ASH-1 drops a bit farther than on the BATAC. Pete
 
The Hell Razor mags feel awesome! Similar to the CGFBM mags. The BATAC mags feel good, better than standards in my opinion. For me the jury is still out on the ASH-1 grips. The SE in that previous and the following picture has very thin grips, whereas the mags on my black and tan/satin are fat. Not sure which I like best there yet.

When are the ASH with the .320" blades going to be released>>>???

I think MAGS on those would make the handle too thick...

Has anyone held one yet??
 
Maybe the mags on the CGASH-1 will be smaller than the Hell Razor mags in these pics. Like the BATAC mags are smallish... I've gotta think they'll put a lot of thought into the design and kick out some killer knives.
