ASH-1 in Olive Drab or Desert Tan with Black Canvas Mags?

I'm pretty new to Busse and started with the BATAC. As much as I like it, I REALLY like the ASH-1. I'm thinking about ordering another ASH-1 with Black Canvas Mags and can't decide on the blade color -- either Desert Tan or Olive Drab. What do you all think and does anyone have pics of either? Thanks!

I assume you mean Desert Olive as a coating color, as Desert Tan is not an option.

i prefer uncoated blades, but the coatings all look good too.

the tan is grittier, like sandpaper, and in my experience is the most durable. it will wear smooth before wearing completely off the blade.

the od tends to be the smoothest textured of all the colors. the only od blade i had was an older model, but the coating came off in chips rather than just wearing off.

I'm confused though about the blade finish options on the ASH-1. The Busse Combat website lists Desert Olive as an option (when you click on Knives), but when you click on Blade Finishes, it shows a Desert Tan. I assume these are different (doesn't help that I'm sorta color blind!) and that Desert Olive, not Desert Tan, is available on the ASH-1.

sorry, my mistake. desert tan is not available.

desert olive, or sage, is a brownish/tannish/light greenish color.

it is smooth, not gritty, like the desert tan.

If you look at the Knives portion of the page, you'll see what finishes are available in the order. The Blade Finishes portion of their site isn't updated to match the colors of what is available in their current offering - and they haven't included Desert Olive as an update since they've started to offer that blade coating.
