ASH 1 knockoff?

Saw this picture and had to ask the question, "Is this a knockoff of an ASH 1?"

Looks like an ASH had a one night stand with a BATAC who was the bastard child of an AD :eek:

At any rate......talon hole.
 
I'm not a busse expert so part of me says don't comment, the other says for someone who knows little, I think it looks like a rough and cheap knock off. Another thing is maybe the guy used some models for inspiration but the talon hole isn't cool if that was the case. Either way I wouldn't buy it.
 
I immediately cried ripoff when I saw this as well. I'd be pissed even if it is a cheap knockoff.

It has been reported to Jerry by E-mail a couple of weeks ago. It had a blurb and picture in July 2012 Tactical Knives Magazine, page 69 if I remember right.

Hilarious but true, Lets pound it against a cinder block and through some 2" conduit and see how it holds up.
 
Yeah it certainly looks like the main idea was to look like the ASH-1 . Obviously a much lower quality knife though . Put it in a vise and hammer an ASH-1 right through it Jerry :D
