Looking over some very old ad postings, I noticed one knife in particular. This knife is a satin finished ASH-1 at .22" thickness, but it's not a numbered LE version. Could anyone tell me what this knife is? Was it a regular production offering from the shop or a special run for a show?

Thank you.

My guess is it was an LE blank that was finished and sold at a show. I guess there's always the possibly it was a production piece that was left sterile at the request of the buyer. Who knows?

I have a .22 coated ASH, they are no as common as the .18 or .32 but they appear with some regularity in the EX. It could be one of these stripped and satin finished as well.

No there were .220 Satins made that were NOT LE's. I have had a Blk/Red G-10, Pumpkin and I have a Handshaped Pumpkin Sterial right now that is .220"
As far as .220" coated, I have one of those as well. Most all of the .220 from what I have seen and heard has made there appearance at shows. Of coarse the LE was an order. I bought the Double Edged Custom .220 Mag Blk G-10 here in Anchorage when Busse came up here.

Here is a Ken Lunde awesome picture, but the ASH is in my chest right now.

Left to right:
Fatty .320", Standard Blk G-10

.220", LE
.220", Custom, Mag Blk G-10

This one is a .22 so like the other posters all I can do is confirm that they exist but I bought it off the exchange and don't know its origins/history.
