I made a similar post in the Swamps forum with the Kill Devil. This is the other side of the same muffler. Considering how difficult it was for my devils spike to penetrate this.......I was blown away at how deep the ASH bites in a stab. I've been stabbing different mediums for the past month or so now and I am continually impressed of its stabbing power. This combined with a seemingly indestructible edge.....and we are looking at arguably the most awesome knife ever made.

Nuff chit chat........here's the pics.........

I'm at work so I may be posting the pics over the next few hours.........enjoy....

you know, how can you do a "test to destruction" test on an item that apparently, cannot be damaged, much less destroyed?

Sweet pics, I love the fat ash. I took it recently to a friend's house to show off, his wife looked at me weird as if to say, that's a knife. Later she warmed up to it and asked to hold it, literally after about 5 seconds she said, wow I feel like I'm holding a small sword, I like it too much, now I want one. Now when I come over she yells through the phone to bring something cool over. Though nothing I've brought has been better to her eye than the ash. To think, I used to think she was dumb....

i feel like you're taking it kind of easy on your ASH . . .

Lol......well so far.....each medium has been tougher than the last. The bulldozer guard steel was tougher than the frying pan and this excavator muffler was tougher than the bulldozer steel. I think I'm heading in the right direction anyway! ;-)

Somehow I just don't think that excavator will be as quiet when that muffler goes back on... :p

Just to make sure it doesn't go back on........maybe I should just go ahead and cut the whole thing in half. Hmmmmmm......now you've got me thinking....

I'd go 'round the middle, not end to end... those seams are no fun. ;)
