After buying my SRKW M6, I browsed around the Busse forum, and knew I now needed some INFI. I told you about the knife I was looking for, what I would use it for and we all determined I needed a Skinny ASH. And it's a beautiful I ended up with. Black Blade with black/tan G10 ...

I threw in the M6 for some company, and to show off the ridiculously awesome Steelnut sheath with firesteel loop. Bring on the INFI!!!!

Very nice, and congrats! That's a beaut

Now go beat it up! :p (and obviously take pics)

I find it more useful to count number of chops. Makes it easier to compare one knife against another. Not that I'd ever do that sort of thing....

Congrats, Adrock. Now that you have it, how are you feeling about it. When you've fondled it adequately, give us a short review. What I'm really interested in is this: Has it met your expectations after the bit of a buildup?

Short review: Its everything I was looking for. It weighs about the same as my M6. Its even a little longer, but it feels better in hand. Its thinnner, so it seems to move quicker with less motor skill. I like the definite beginning and end curve to te handle. That gave me better control when I chop with it. The M6 seems like an over all chunkier knife. A tank. The Skinny seems to be more refined. The grips are better contoured, and the choil is excellent when choked up on.

Its right at my limit as far as size of a knife I'd actually carry hiking and camping. Its "skinny" relative only to other ASHs. Otherwise its more stout than any other knife (except my M6) I own. I dont see myself ever chopping through 4" trees with it, or clearing land. Thats what my hatchet is for. It feels like the perfect hunter/camper that could handle anything from bone to 1/4" marshmellow sticks, up to and beyond 2, 3 and 4" shelter poles.

I would actually like a Skinny Ash to try out. My Fatty Ash is for sure chunky. I prefer to think of it as festively plump, rather than calling it fat.

Skinny Ash's are my favorites, nice choice of knife.
