Went camping for a a few days and was finally able to put this bad boy to some use. What a knife!!! To say that is coped with everything thrown at it would be an insult.
After chopping through half a forest the blade has not lost its edge at all. It doesn't even need a touch up.
All of my mates that had the pleasure of working with this knife on our trip simply could not believe the performance.

Cool pics! They almost look 3D. . . .kinda like the old Viewmaster! Awesome!

And nice score. . . .Congrats!

Yeah love the animation and vfx too. Thanks for sharing mate ;)

Seriously, post some pics man!!! We love this stuff! :)

Glad you like the ASH. Mine is my favourite 'go to' blade for nearly everything.

EDIT: When I wrote this I couldn't see anything! Sorry about that.

Cool pics and an even better blade!!!

One of the best blade designs IMHO.

Curious... is that a skinny or a HOG ASH?

Thanks for sharing. :)

Nice pics. A Skinny ASH and SJTAC are on my next buy list (with the Bushwacker). Just waiting for the next ganzaa to hopefully oblige, because I can't drive 1200 miles to Knob Creek.

Thanks for the nice comments, fellas.
This is a CG ASH. I thought it would be a bit fat for some of the tasks but I was proven wrong. Excellent design indeed.

I have two of them and with just a little thinning of the factory edge, man can they cut. I got bit just a couple of weeks ago, not bad but even with being careful, I still got bit.

Forgot to mention - one of my mates used this blade to open a beer bottle. Had to take him to emergency to get his hand stitched up. He got cut good - could see his knuckle. 4 stitches and he was good as new. He did not want to touch this knife for the rest of the trip.
