ASH Kydex Sheath Question

Hello, was wondering if a .22 Ash will fit ok in a .25 kydex sheath. Seems I can only find that one for a battle grade Ash; would it move around at all or would it still be tight.Thickness of the two seems very close.Unless anyone knows where to get a kydex sheath for a 22 thick Ash .

well it all depends

it may be .22" but what grind is it ?
the skinny ASH was a convex grind so it would not fit in the 2007 SE that was full fat grind even though they have the same spine thickness
Or the ASH LE was also a full flat grind.

the BG ASH is a saber grind so it may work but again it all depends on how the sheath was made.

also the scale thickness has varied over the years with both standard and magnum scales being offered
The LE had magnums and the SE had standard and the original had both options

a pic would help make sure you get what you want since just the spine thickness may not determine what you have.

I have these ASH's in house
Original ASH/HOG ASH 3/8" thick flat grind
ASH LE .22" to .25" flat
2007 ASH SE .22" to .25" flat
BG ASH .25" saber
TRASH .25" saber

double cut beadblast non magnum grips;221 thick not sure looks like flat grind I just got it on the exchange this is the pic and info I have
 
not sure if you are the one that sent me a e-mail but I do have that knife in house ;)
 
Goldie is lucky to have gotten that one, had Jerry B not already just arranged for my salary to be paid directly into a Busse account I would have had it when it was first offered up ... ;)

Lucky indeed , at one time I had 4 of them, one of my favorite ASH's
 
I wondered why no one jumped on it quicker.Old school bead blast ? Glad I got it...
