Took my ASH1 out today to the woods. After some target practice I did some cutting on some Alder saplings. WOW!!! This little fella can sure cut! Went through most stuff in one swipe
The handle was comfy too with no "pinky bite" experianced. I did sharpen the edge before the woods though. I did not have to change the geometry on this one though
Just ran it over a fine Sharpmaker stone and then a light strop to give it a little more bite than the polished factory edge. I didn't want to thin the forest too much but I did get through a few 1.5in saplings in one swipe. That will make anyone smile
