OK, so it's 1:30am here and I'm busy setting up my router and firewall for my new internet connection. One NAT'ing router and firewall feeding two VLAN's - one for jumbo-frame gigabit routed to the other for standard frame gigabit; several fully public servers through another router/firewall for stuff like VPN and a static NAT'd zone for basic public services that don't really need a real public interface. Fun... Anyone got a spare Cisco router???

So, to keep me company I have a couple of Busses next to me (see, it is on topic) that I fondle every few minutes.

A few minuted ago I noticed the Glenmorangie giving me the eye, so I had to pour a glass. Not sure how that will help the firewall setup, but what the hell!

So, I thought a few pics might be in order, hope you enjoy them. I really love the handle colours on my ASH1LE...

Nice knives!

Sorry though, the only spare Cisco I have around here is a Cisco SOHO71.

That's pretty heavy duty. I need to learn how to do some more of that stuff. Just had an interview where they asked me a lot of things like that, and I realized I've got a lot to learn. Is that for work, or personal use?

Well, this is just personal use/learning/fun. The company I work for installs and maintains servers and networks in schools, including a lot of really big wireless systems. So I spend a lot of time doing it for work as well.

My setup is about 100 times more complicated than I really *need*. But If I stuck with only what I need I wouldn't have as many Busses as I do!

The color of tigerhide slab extremely matches with the Glenmoragie. :D
