ASH1 Question

The 2007 SE ASH1 had a 0.220" blade stock, Double Cut finish, a flat blade grind, and standard handles with a unique contour. Look how the handles taper as they become close to the Talon holes:

The Skinny ASH1 had a thinner 0.200" blade stock, various finishes, a convex blade grind, and Magnum handles. Here is the Black + Black/Tan G-10 one next to its 0.320" thick sister:

+1 for Lunde's post...
He nailed it.

The convex blade on the Skinny moves the balance slightly forward,
making it just a little more blade heavy.

I have a question- sorta related- would the sheath for the Skinny ASH-1 that Skunk is selling fit the ASH-1 LE?

Although I have not yet taken any snapshots of it, my 2008 SE ASH1 with the G-Rex style handle (Black G-10 + Black/Tan G-10) seems to have the same blade stock as the ASH1 LE, meaning 0.220" thick, a full-height flat grind, and Satin finish.

Not perfectly... my LE rubs at the spine, but will fit with a little force.

The Skinny ASH1s are .195" thick and the LEs are .220".

Good point...I should have asked "Which SE"? Are the 08's also .22?

I knew I should have specified '07 or '08. I was talking about the 2007 version though. Lunde nailed it.

Every time I pull mine out I wonder if it is the same width as the skinny. I just forget to ask.

Thanks gents!!
