Ashi-hamono log knife

When i went to japan i visited a knife makers shop. There i made a knife thats also in the gallery called my first knife.
I bought a pair of these knives from him too.

Its cool cause each one has a unique handle depending on the branch.
They have a rather thin knife so no tough work but would be a great camping kitchen knife. Really nice look. The one i ahve has a little bit thinner handle than the 2 fatter ones and a tree knot that adds a nice tough to how its gripped.

The company is called Ashi-hamono
Has anyone heard of this knife maker before? They make a lot of kitchen knives.

That is a nice design. I am going to Japan next week, I hope to visit Watanabe Blades in Niigata.

Those are very cool. I love the look and the fact that the handles are totally unique to every knife.

Those look like pretty good knives. The handles are about as basic as you can get.
