Ashokan, car rental

Arriving in Newark on Friday, leaving from there on Sunday. Anyone want to split a rental car? I figure it won't be driven much, but I also figure it would be cheaper than a cab to Ashokan.

$300 after taxes for round trip to Newark, but the rental cars are horribly expensive there. Around $45 per day! I'm used to Florida rates of $20 per day for the cheap cars.

Thanks. However, +$196 and an extra layover for DSM > SWF(Stewart International). Given the layover in Milwaukee, it's quicker to fly to Newark and drive the extra hour to Newburgh.
