My buddy found this presumably Asian hand pick. 18" handle. Similar size as a U.S. WW II army pick. Anyone recognize this tool?

Nope. Totally different shape to the mattock blade.According to an old Sportsmans Guide listing, it could be a "Used Chinese Military Pick - mattock - 157766"
