I love Asian influenced cutlery, and would love to see various interpretations of this genre, especially forged ones.

Here's a couple of pictures of a knife I have by Shosui Takeda, which I bought here on Bladeforums. After some handle modifications, I must say that this is the best bush knife I've ever used! Fantastic, long lasting edge sandwiched between some tough, simple steel.

hey thanks man! I found that the handle as it was originally shaped, would roll in my hand during use, making for some danger. After filing and sanding the contours into it, I double wrapped the whole thing in waxed polyester thread. It doesn't look as great as I was hoping it would, but functionality is top notch.
The blade on this beast is about 10", and the handle is quite long, (due to the ferrule style of construction). The blade thickness is about 3/8" or so.
