ASK6 vs. S4

Hi,

What do you feel is better the Red Scorpion Six ASK6 for approximately $150 or the Bear Grylls Baley Knife S4, which I hear retails for around $600, but is on back order now!

On a side note, I understand Bear and Baley are no longer working together, so which knife is Bear carrying on his show now? I just watched an episode, which might be an old one and Bear was carrying the Baley knife! Bear can't be carrying those crap Bear Grylls Gerber knives?!

Red Scorpion 6 doesn't have a good reputation 'round here. He was banned for shilling his knives without membership, and creating other accounts to do the same.

Hi, I actually had not heard of their company until today, when I did a search for Bear Gyrlls knives and the Scorpion knife was mention on the British Blades forum. Upon further research the two knives seem like a good match up for a comparison!

Probably because the RS6 is a blatant copy of the Bayley. You can do better for the money. Fallkniven for example.

Hi, so you feel Fallkniven beats both the RS6 and S4 ?

It is an interesting sheath the S4 is using! I never saw one like that before.
