until recently i have never carried for slipjoint knives. always saw them as inferior because they couldnt do the things my locking knives could. then i realized i have yet to need to stab something, and that any slipjoint would be holding its own next to my tactical folders lol. and i really REALLY like the style of a certain knife i have found. two blades, one a mini straight razor style blade, and the other a clip or drop point style blade (only ones i have found so far are made by remington or bear and son). so my first question, who makes high quality slip joint pocket knives (stockmans, trappers and the like)? benchmade, kershaw, spyderco, zt, esee, these companies are well known and praised for their extreme quality folders and fixed blade knives. what company fits in the same throne as them with traditional pocket knives? and number 2, do they make the type of knife i mentioned up there?^^ if not any help on locating a quality version of this knife would be greatly appreciated. also i realized this MIGHT have been better off posted in the traditional folders forum, but i was advised that the standard blade/straight razor blade knife im looking for isnt exactly "traditional". if you need reference, i posted a picture of the style im looking for in another post called "just an observation". thank you for your time and hope you have some good advice headed my way.

You'll find a ton of great companies in the traditional knife section of bladeforums. If you want low cost but "modern" CRKT produces a line up of new traditional folders in their basic stainless. If your willing to go with traditional, queen cutlery, tidioute, bulldog, risen, and many more that use high carbon steels like d2 and 1095.

If you go to ebay or wherever and type in "one armed knife" you'll find similar models to what you described.
