I generally ask for suggestions after I finish but I'm about 50% here and would like input.
I know...no guard but I like the flow of the Nordic Knives. Besides, it's mostly for field dressing deer so it gets used upside down.

Cripes man, what are you asking for? That baby looks ready to go to me! If it needs a new home, just send it on over. I'll keep it in my sock drawer until it has to come out to go to work. :D

The cross section of the handle looks a bit square , it should be oval. What kind of sock are you going to use for the sheath? I hope you use wool , it's more appropriate .

I was going to say the same as Mete. Maybe thin down the handle to me a flatter shape and round over more twords the blade half.

Great blade!

Thanks Dave.

Mete, it is still squarish. I haven't gotten back that far yet. The heel is bothering me though. Should I bring it down to a pointed oval, or just rounded?

Don: It needs a lanyard hole with a leather strap hanging thru it and a burnt toe attached to the leather strap. :p

Peter , taking a closer look - after you've formed the handle to oval , the back of that handle is shaped half way - to carving the hoof of a deer . It would be very appropriate .

Peter are those 3 packs of opened cigs in the picture? You are having trouble with this one. :D
Whats that green stuff between the plywood?

I think it's two partial packs and one empty...... :o
That's saw dust...I don't know why it's green unless I sawed salt treated last. That's a multi purpose fence. One side works a router table and the other side works the table saw. I have special fences I can slided in between the plywood pieces for different jobs ( I have to clean out the sawdust before they work)

Nice looking knife, Don. Yup, squarish though (still). I've seen puukos with a very narrow but round "neck" toward the butt section. Looks great - just work it down a little more. ;)
