Benchmade Newbie here, hope I am posting this in the right place. I picked this up recently and it looked reasonably close to the markings on my Griptilian to hope it’s not a knock off. Photos
My questions..
Is it a legit Benchmade?
What is the exact year / model?
How would you clean it up and restore it?

Looks legit. It's a 940. Not sure about age but it's got s30v so it wouldn't be that old.

Looks like it needs a good cleaning, sharpening and some good lube.

Where you bought it will largely tell if it is legit or fake and how much you paid.
