Well on my third week of owning my new Sebenza I finally got the nerve to take it apart. Im glad to say that all went well, but I gotta admit that I was on edge taking apart a $325 knife! Im always paranoid about as to how snug to tighten the screws back on.

Now that I know I can take it apart and put it back together I think I'll leave it the way it is unless I have to take it apart again...I dont think I can take the pressure!

All in all though I thought that it was fairly easy, after reading some past posts I was kind of worried. The only thing to really pay extra attention to is making sure that the washers are lying in the right place before assembly.

I know exactly how you felt! I was real nervous when I first took mine apart, but like you said, being careful is the ticket! A friend took his apart to work on the lock bar face, polish it or something but when he put it back together the washers were not assembled correctly and boy did it sound and move bad, I helped him reassemble the knife and showed him the problem. But it really needed the lube that CRK sells. I need to get some of that stuff, I've used the White Lightening but now that's all gone.
