Asset Tags...In case you lose it!

So I am sitting here with a very expensive knife in my pocket thinking how bad it would be if I lost it. I am sure many of you have gone though this. In any event, I was thinking that it would be nice to have some type of small, metal backed by adhesive, asset tag with something like (Reward If Found , Call .....). Does anyone know of a company that specializes in hard asset tags that would fit inside a knife?

by the way the one on my PDA is 2" long by 1/4" wide. I think that this is the smallest tag that they make. Plenty small enough for most knives.
 
A store that specializes in golf equipment usually offers these mylar labels that you can have imprinted with anything that you like. They are meant to wrap on the shaft of a golf club. A general sporting goods store that has some golf equipemnt MAY carry them but typically its a pure golf shop.

A google search would probably bring up something as well.
 
After 14 years of playing with knives I have never lost one. I might lose my ass if it wasn't screwed on, but I am always aware of where my blade is.
 
I engrave all my users on a non-critcal area, eg. aluminum scale, rear bolster, pommel, etc. I don't engrave my fancy ones.
