So, we've got the Slim Pro 110 and 112, and the Slim Select 110 and 112. I know what Buck needs next ..... The 110 and 112 Slim Classics.

Basically they'd be slimmed-down versions of the classic-look 110 and 112, with the brass bolsters and Crelicam Ebony scales. Same knives, just thinner ('bout like the 500 Duke).

Sign me up for the first 112 Slim Classic ...... presumably to be launched at the 2023 SHOT Show. 😉

Who else is in!?

Didn't they make a 110 like that?
I agree, it would be nice.

I have a Joe Houser made 110 Federal replica in 440C Macassar ebony with bands of "Grizzly" fret material. Very thin 110.

A very excellent and exciting idea! Way before the recent Federal LE Buck made a run of thin 110's I believe was in the late 70's. I remember David talking about seeing one on Ebay around 2010 and how rare it was. 3/8" less I think? If Buck does in fact make a LE run of 'Slim' 112's next year I will absolutely put that one (or maybe 2 or 3) on the list with one (or maybe two) for 'Slim' Customs.

As long as it's actually a Buck 110 with a proper 110 blade it would be cool, if they use that non 110 blade of that not a 110 slim select or whatever it is well that would not be right at all.

It's not a classic 110. I carried a classic 110 on my belt for many years.

I understand your feeling that way.

I felt that way for quite a while after they first appeared. I don't like pocket clips or thumb studs and you're right, that's not a 110 blade.

I can't remember what I was thinking when I bought this 110 Slim Pro. It was used, but not much, like new, really. Might have been the price, $75.00 I think it was

Maybe I thought I'll buy it, won't like it and I can say 'yep been there, done that' it's...such and such and so and so.

I was close to throwing in the towel because this one was hard for my arthritic hands to manipulate. I worked on it with oil and opening and closing for quite a while before I could open it with out pain and not cut my thumb.

Lo and behold I liked it. It had a LynchNW Titanium Deep Carry Clip installed plus the original clip. It carried so well with that Lynch clip it just disappeared in my pocket and was not the paper weight the 110 was when carried in the pocket with or without a clip. I tried the original clip and promptly put the other back on. I'm anxiously awaiting my new 110 Pro TRX and Hunter Sport especially to try the newly Buck designed clip.

Oh, and I grew to like the blade shape. It's not a 110, it's a different version and/or variation. I just might be fickle in my old age.

whatcha saying Preston...even an old dawg can learn a new trick?😄

the slims made sense to me for someone wanting a slim easy carry pocket knife with a pocket clip. I like 'em, but since I got the hunter sport....this is the knife Buck should have always made, for modern and useful wants. while thicker in the pocket..thats the only downside and not really a downside to me.
