assistance in finding a damascus sodbuster style knife

Is this type of knife readily available? any suggestions on a knifemaker that makes this style of knife?

There's some very talented knifemakers that post in this sub-forum you could contact offline. I'll let the other members make recommendations.
I don't recall seeing any production damascus Sodbusters, but if they are out there I'll bet someone here knows it.

Case made a Damascus bladed stag handled sodbuster for the Kentucky bicentennial I had one but let it go to someone who appreciated it more than I did. They come up on the auction site sometimes. Just keep looking and good luck.

im fairly certain Mr. Peregrin answered your question, but keep your eye out for a kerry hampton damascus sodbuster. they are wonderfully beautiful functional knives.

Alan Davis has been making some lovely folding knives recently out of Chad Nichols Alabama Damascus. I don't imagine it would be difficult for him to construct a sodbuster out of that material. Here's his Facebook page:

That Johnson sodbuster was the first that came to my mind--what a beauty it is! And Keith makes a fantastic knife. My KR Johnson sodbuster is as perfectly made and rugged for any use as they come.
