I am trying to find posts made by my father who frequents this forum. I'm not sure how to achieve that. Could some instructions be given or a link?
 
Thank you for getting back to me. I'm not sure but I think I found it. I'm using his tablet and after I registered and logged on it took me to his page.
 
Another question, please. Is there any way I can see his posts only? This is very important. My father is disabled having certain impairments and does not speak. He spends a large amount of time in the chatroom here. We had a situation yesterday evening and I am hoping that reading some of his writings might give some answers as to why.
 
Advanced Search *upper right of screen( allows you to search for posts by User Name.

You can also click on his User Name in a post he made and then select View Forum Posts.

For what you are looking for, the bold is probably the route you want to take as it will show you his posts descending chronologically.

Using the Advanced Search will work, but it will show you the threads that he has posted in and you'd have to go through them from there.

Also, I believe (not 100% sure) that when searching users this way, it will show you the threads that they have posted in in an ascending chronological order. That'd make it a bit tougher to pick through.

Edit to add: ^^^^ While searching my own ramblings here, this does seem to be the case.

I believe from what I've read so far it is Greykilt. A tremendous amount to read and dig through. I had no idea. Unbelievable. I guess he found a way to talk. When I saw pictures of my nephew then I knew.

Yes, Rich your name is here on his pad. Theres a David, Chris, Ted, Rachel, a Best Ann or a Beth. A lot of names. This is a more daunting task than I imagined. Obviously you don't use your names here. I am delving into a private part of my father. It appears he has shared a tremendous amount of his life with people in this chatroom. I am absolutely overwhelmed. I have this impending feeling of exposure and invasion. Let me assure you if circumstances were different I would not endeavor this.

I think this would be the best way to see his posts. They will all be out of context however.

I had thought he would of used Uilleam Parl as that is his user name on ShootersForum and Jersey Devil. Greykilt is a family name. A very old name. It did not occur to me initially that he would use that. I am a little puzzled by how much actual things of his life including that name he has shared here. I typed in his name William Pearl in the search bar and the first thread that came up was the Greyline. Then it was fairly apparent which member he was.
 
I've known Bill since he first registered and we have emailed back and forth since then. Email me if I may be of help to you. My address is in his computer email log or you may see it by clicking on my user name. Bill is a special friend.

I think it would be best to allow him to open those when he is able. The fact I am here is already a kind of disrespect. And based on things he writes here I do not think he will be very appreciative of me being here. We all believed this was just an internet site he sold and bought his pocket knives on. I'm discovering that it is quite a bit more.

I understand, William. I have immense respect for Billy, he has a lot of friends here and all of us wish him well.
