ive read an artical in the latest edition of blade magazine and they are saying that the texas court is going to outlaw assited openers on the grounds that they are switchblade's (automatics) which are already illegal, i have 3 assisted openers and sell countless more to guys, they are some of my best sellers i just bought an S30V blur, and ive asked one officer of the austin police dept and he said that they are not YET but they will tell him if they do become, but he said that if he does catch someone with an automatic of assisted opener that he doesn't care just wished that the whold of APD where like that ive never been pulled over and lets hope that it never happens.

If you are selling them you have an obliagtion to KNOW the law. This was a recent ruling, and may be over turned, but it has gone two levels already in the court system. I bet selling them is just as illegal if not more, if this ruling holds up, so find out now before you continue selling them and put yourself and your customers in jepordy of going to jail. !!!
