Assisted opening knives

Will,
I am looking forward to obtaining the two new assisted opening knives from Camillus. The Aftermath and the Dominator are going to be great knives. I was wondering how to store the knives open or closed I am worried about the spring losing tension if stored closed. Any thoughts ?

Jocko,
Closed is the way to go. We have protos that have been closed for months, and they are doing fine. Of course, we won't know for sure until we have had knives out there for years, but the engineering dept. says that the spring bar should not loose tension in the compressed state.

Rest assured, if there is/was/could be a problem, you know that CAMILLUS will take care of it under warranty.

I can't wait to get mine either;)
