Asymmetric grind on Emerson Commander

I got my first emerson today and noticed that the edge seems to be ground on 1 side only. Is this normal? (My apologies if this issue has been covered before, but I am new to this sub-forum and the BF search function is not the most user friendly).

It is a factory blemish. I will take it off your hands cheap.
