Cold Steel, Rajah II, All Black! This vintage Cold Steel knife is from Lynn Thompson’s Personal Collection and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Lynn Thompson. Serial number A0002-1.

Cold Steel item number 62KGB. Designed by Andrew Demko. 14” overall length. 8” closed, folding kukri pattern. 6 1/8” downward curved AUS-8A blade is front tang marked RAJAH II and rear tang marked COLD STEEL over TAIWAN. Is this for real ? Are there lots of knives being marketed like this now ?

Other than the "authentication " signature , I don't see much special about this worth a premium price .

Am I missing something ? Seems a bit contrived, desperate or scammy ... and not LCT's finest hour , IMO .

Nah , I'm OK with this if there's just one of each being sold ...but if there are lots of the same model , then not so much . :(
 
Right before the buyout, the CS mod said that there were shipping containers full of Lynn’s stuff that were going to be sold off. Possibly the start?

Even if this is direct from Lynn's personal collection (I don't know if it is or isn't), the COA that comes with the knife looks like it was printed in black & white on regular paper. Also, in the pictures, the COA looks miscut (one side longer than the other). It seems like no thought or attention to detail was involved with creating such a COA. Scammers are going to love how easy it is to copy this COA to legitimize their fakes.
