I'm getting some trail time in on the AT and testing out some new foot wear. This section is notorious for it's boot busting rock:
New Cabelas Meindls have been very comfortable and supportive out of the box. I highly recommend - full leather, goretex, cork footbed. Also trying polypro liners for the first time, which seems to be helping - no hotspots or blisters:
