Hi Corkies!!!!

Well after months of planning, talking over the phone, discussing patterns and styles..our very own water fountain loitering, corkie hating, clown suit wearing DANBO has finished the knife I have aptly named and soon to be a world famous first edition of the small fixed blade to take the knife industry by storm...

Here are the specs..OAL Length 5"
Blade Length 2"
Made from Delbert Ealy Vine pattern Damascus ( Which according to water fountain boy) is a combination of 01, L6, and a pinch of Nickel.

Heat treated by Unger ( Water fountain boy ) with supervision by Craig Camerer.

Sheath by Lifter..Awesome sheath Dave..it has a magnet in the sheath to keep knife snug for neck carry.

Engraved by Kit Carson..

I think this knife is very cool...see pics I am not much of a photographer and macro shots with my 4.0 megapix camera are a challenge..but anyway..

Sweet little knife!

You know, it's funny - Danbo, the big goofy guy with big mitts and a taste for big honkin' bowies making a small, delicate, pretty little thing like this...

:thumbup:Ren,
Very nice little cutter!
A Danbo KNIFE!! :p :D
Dave makes fine sheaths.
User or safe queen?

Doug:)

This knife came about, as a matter of necessity. I had purchased a nice piece of damascus from Delbert, and although he cut me a deal, the steel was still kind of expensive(as is any quality damascus). So, I wanted to maximize the knives I got out of it. I deftly bandsawed out 4 of these little knives out of the one piece of damascus. 3 are still unfinished(no surprise, eh?) The other three are different blade styles too. One is similar to this one, only a tad bigger and wider. One is a sheepsfoot and one is sort of upswept-ish. I like them all; and if nobody ever bought any of the others, it wouldn't break my heart to keep them. :)

Danbo - at last! Lookin' good bro. Thanks for the pics Ren and congrats on the cool new knife!

Roger

Very nice, Ren.

Danbo, I can't see the drinking fountain that I was expecting in the maker's mark. Must just be Ren's photography-I am sure it's there somewhere.

Im thinking that this knife is a user...light user..I have decided I like that sheath so much by lifter that I am going to carry this knife actually as a small pocket fixed blade..

It wont be used for any serious Oompa Loompa de-animation..but light stuff around the office and my shift as mall security..this lil baby should do fine..:p

Turned out good, Danbo. I got to see that knife at the Saint Louis show...

But ya never told me Ren was the guy who wanted it! :D

BUWHAHAHAHAHAHA! Thanks for the comment Wulf... ya sure nailed it! Danbo has quite a few in the "still making 'em" box too.
