tough decision for me as well.


my sheaths are 95% leather. this is the first kydex sheath i have ordered custom. couldnt be happier!

figured since i plan on strapping it to packs, the kydex wouldn't get as dinged up and may save a little weight.

i took it on two camping trips.


chopped/split a lot of wood, thrown at trees,


a little unwieldy for food prep.

I have one coming from Brian as well, along with new pants for the Chuckette' and the Distal Taper SHSH...I can hardly wait

I am trying to remember for sure, but I think Brian forgot to include any type of clip with my sheath! Oh well, I will give him a ring sometime.

Chuck here is a bunch of leather with multi position (vertical, horizontal and upside down) as well as ambidextrious from leatheman.

In any case, nothing fancy was required to mount the ruck on my bag, just a piece of velcro and a keychain carabiner.

if it has pals webbing, try the blade techs, they are pretty inexpensive.

and cobalt, you have one of the nicest sheath collections around, not to mention the infi....
