Could it be something desgned by Justin Gingrich when he worked with Andy Prisco?
I doubt it, I'm sure he'd have mentioned that to me at some point. Those look like they were made by Ambassador, aka Hays Ambassador, aka Hays Montana, which I didn't know ever worked for Andy/ATC. But if Ambassador did make hawks for ATC then it must have been the iteration of ATC that existed after Gingrich's ill-fated relationship with Andy and before the current Fehrman relationship.Could it be something desgned by Justin Gingrich when he worked with Andy Prisco?

Was there a stamp mark on the other side of the head? That would explain a lot.
There are no marking on the head at all. This was made in January or February (early) of 2003. That might give an idea who made it for ATC. My guess is, whoever made the one this was made from, is also the one who made this version. Like I said.... I was told they only made one or two... maybe this is the only one!! Bidding starts at........ ha ha wonder what it would really be worth in that case?
Quite a bit, I would think. I'm pretty sure the ATC Hayes Hawk (the one on the right in JParanee's picture, and Not to be confused with "Hays Hawks") is worth well over $300, possibly close to or over $500 by now considering how rare they are, not to mention how awesome the are. That one was designed by Wally Hayes for ATC, and made from O-1, one of their finest offerings ever, and also a very limited run. If yours is a prototype that didn't make it into full-scale production, i.e., Ambassador (or any other company) made a few for ATC but ATC didn't go through with the contract, it could be a historical anomaly which would make it even more valuable.
From what I hear, Andy isn't one of the guys that doesn't answer emails, so you might have better luck sending him your request for information directly. Be sure to let us know, that is a brilliant hawk you had. And definitely try to get it back!!!
