I remeber reading through the forum a while back about the Vietnam Tactical Grade hawk becoming standard Army issue? I haven't heard much about ATC and the military lately and just wondered if you guys knew what was up (I know you do, Andy). Maybe I missed something or you guys just don't talk about it much... I thought the idea was great but haven't seen much on it. Maybe I'm prying at a secret? Just me being dumb again! <BR>

Nice logo work Rob! ;)

There have been some intimations and references here on this forum and elsewhere, by different parties, ourselves included, regarding your inquiry to a certain extent.

We don't know what basis of issue is the most favorable to the military's consideration of our Tomahawk, nor do we know the developments at this time in terms of its consideration.

As some folks say in the Armed Services, "Hurry Up and Wait!" ;) So that's what wer'e doing.

Yea, I've heard that tomahawks (NG, Vietnam Tactical, Eagle Talon) were becoming more popular among the serviceman. I suppose that's because NOW there are some real good tough ones out there from ATC and RMJF made for service. I think this is great as I hear more about servicemen buying hawks. A truly unique American weapon recognized by many military sources as the most effective CQB weapon available (besides guns) on top of its million other utilitarian uses and of course... Throwing!

The military should make the ATC Hawks standard issue. It will be more value for their money than those $1000.00 toilet seats!!!

I agree Big-Target. Army and Marines especially should get tomahawks and elite forces (Rangers, Spec Ops, Seals, Delta Force etc.) should get NG Ranger hawks - maybe custom to fit their needs. Sure would be better money spent than spending hundreds of thousands studying the sex habits of house flies (in a bill Slick Willie signed).
