I will be holding a Hammer In at my shop in Awendaw, SC on Febuary 24-25 2001. Larry Harley of Bristol Tennessee will be giving a small talk on gas forge construction and forge welding on Friday. We will then forge weld a few tomahawks to demonstrate the principles of welding in a gas forge. Saturday we will construct a few billets to make damascus and forge them using a hydraulic press and power hammer. We would like to keep the class to around ten students.
