Very sharp, Perfect edges and detail...
Great job ATC and Sibert knives

I like it to..but Fox knives makes the exact same one (probably outsourced to extrema ratio). Is this just a whitelabel product for ATC...or did ATC make it and white label it to Fox knives. At a guess I would say the it was made by Extrema ratio because I didn't think ATC used N690 for anything else while ER uses it for almost everything now (yes I know benchmade has a few bits and pieces in it as well as a few other higher end pieces from other companies).

This ax is made by FOX cutlery for American Tomahawk company under Andy's direction and my design. :)

FOX Knives, Military Division is licensed to sell the Sibert Comanche in Europe, by American Tomahawk. This license was also subject to Mr. Sibert's approval. To my knowledge, FOX does nothing with Extremia Ratio.

It is a Sibert design, and an American Tomahawk Company product...period. The materials, heat treatment, blade geometry, and tactical features were the result of intense collaboration between Shane, Gabriele Frati, and me.

The Axe can do what it can do because of FOX MD's committment to excellence in manufacturing, Shane's design, and American Tomahawk's experience in building hard-use axes.

I hope this answers any questions.

Thanks for that info...I did hear that many of fox's knives are made by extrema ratio (they are both italian companies but maybe they have nothing to do with each other). So just to clarify, are you saying that the Sibert is manufactured in the USA by ATC? We were discussing this in another forum and I will post up the correct answer. Also, why the move to N690? I love this steel but the only people I ever talk to that have seen it in anything besides the first run benchmade knives are people like me that are into Extrema Ratio gear. Having said that I am in Australia and Australia does not have the exposure to as many brands of knives as our USA cousins.

****edited...I see that Shane stated above that the Sibert is manufactured by Fox in Italy..which would explain the use of the N690 steel. Thanks..

They have shown that excellence in other collabartions as well. A certain rather large folder comes to mind. Again US design/input. Jerry take a bow.

They'll do me:)

Great Hawks guys, great team effort. I aim to own one someday.

Irezumi:

The G-10 is American and exported to FOX-MD for the Sibert project.

The N690Co is an Austrian material made from excellent ore and performs like 440C on steriods. It is procured by FOX-MD for us.

The Axe is finished and assembled in Italy, at FOX-MD's facility.

FOX had only made novelty type axes until their project work with American Tomahawk.

In the few years I have worked with FOX, I have never heard of Extrema Ratio referred to as a source company for them.

Argus...
I am very familiar with the knife project to which you refer...and the result is an industry first in terms of execution and materials. It is one of the finest semi-custom folders made, in my opinion.

Thanks Andy..btw I really hope some more of the CQC Emersons are made by you guys and sent to Australia (preferably through Elite Steel). I am such a fan of that thing.
