Hi Andy,
I've been 'kinda sitting in the background watching your progress with great interest and I have to say that your company and product line is coming along quite nicely. I am especially impressed with your "collection grade" tomahawks that you are offering. The finish seems to be superb.

With that said I guess that I'll now get to the actual point of my thread.

What I have been wondering is if you have given any consideration to possibly stamping in a small image of your cool-a** "ATC" logo, as pictured below, onto your 'hawks rather than just the letters ATC as is presently being done. There is nothing wrong with the current method of ID'ing that your using, rather it's just that I can picture this image in my head and it truly looks cool. I could even see a larger image engraved (surrounded with scrolling of coarse) onto your collection grade 'hawks!! Sweeettt!!!!
Maybe even some burnt in scrolling on the handles as well?!?! Even Sweeettter!!!!:D

Anyway, it's just a question, or even comment if you like, for you to think about.

That would be sweet. In fact, it would be even sweeter if they used that logo on all their hawks from here on out. It's pretty cool.

Believe it or not, we tried our logo stamp on our field grade Ranger Hawks....getting through the forged scale for a clean print nearly made Bobby's arm fall off trying. He also almost lost his toes a few times when he dropped the 1,200 degree, straw blue colored, fire branding stamp with the Ranger tab for the handles...hence, laser etching in the comfort of Bobby's air conditioned pick up to and from the laser etcher! :D

We need to use a simple three letter stamp on the field grade Hawks, but that is not to say we can't use the etching on the collector grade Hawks...we do right now on the Ranger Commemorative Series...the Collector grade still getting the three letter stamp.

Vietnam Collector and Commemoratives Grades get the etching...the Field Grade Vietnam Hawk getting a very similar logo right at the drop forge by what is called a "roll stamp".

We will continue, as always, to take customer input under advisement and strive to give the customer what he/she wants!

Thanks for sharing these thoughts here.

Hi Andy,
Thanks for the response.

I can truly appreciate the effort that must go into trying to perform such a task as this. While I have never forged, I have welded & metal worked with different mediums over the years so I'm no stranger to tools and the physical effort that it takes to work with metal. And, most importantly, I certainly don't want to see Bobby lose any of his toes!!! That's not a good thing to have happen. I mean, that would definately throw of his balance while throwing his 'hawks.:D

Maybe you could hire a "temp" for that part of the process??
Just kidding.;)

It's just that I kept thinking of this idea and I wanted to mention it to you. I actually figured that you had probably already looked into this by now. Your logo is just so cool that it just begs to be put onto your 'hawks.

Anyway, thanks again for your response and thanks for listening.

Here's a stupid thought??? How about putting the ATC logo on the handles???? The same way you put the ranger Tab on the spike hawks????
