This custom design was submitted by Ken Nishikawa...he calls it, the HammerHawk...and for good reason. Mirror polished ATS-34, G-10 handles, and all other specs are pursuant to his design, his requirements, his thoughts...guess ATC should just start saying, have it your way! PS...we aren't making more of these BTW

This customized Rogers Rangers Spike Tomahawk was ordered through the custom shop by "PR". The RR forging was ground to remove ALL forged scale and parkerized. Customized edge and spike grinds are pursuant to the customers requirements. A real screamer of a fighting hawk! Note the leading edge grind...along the top of the head...this thing cuts in ANY direction

This is where I can jump in and will say that this is an unsolicited post.

I am the PR in the above post. The Modified Rogers Ranger hawk was something I wanted as a fighting hawk for home defense with all edges sharpened. Once done it will look a bit different. With a curly maple handle and camo-striping on the parkerized head. I didnt want to re-invent the wheel so to speak, and this will fit my idea of a modern fighting hawk with a still primitive feel to it.

As stated the process was started and completed in just a couple of weeks and I should have the hawk in hand soon. That is incredible since most custom makers currently have a 9-12 month wait list!

The process of working with ATC and Justin specifically has been a great experience. I have had a lot of fun talking with Justin who has both great talent and great ideas. Anyone even thinking about getting a hawk that is either slightly different or a completely new design like that wicked hammer hawk above should contact ATC.

I will post again when I get my new hawk in hand, but am already sure that it is a high quality tool/weapon that I will treasure for years to come.

I agree totally on working with Justin. He's highly motivated and progresses at very efficient pace. The Hammerhawk was one of my more exotic designs, and yet he stayed very true to my digital rendering. I (and anyone)obviously have to expect a little variation for several reasons, but am impressed that Justin stayed tight to my spec.s. I can't wait for this to arrive! Thanks ATC for this great outlet. Now there is the problem of somehow increasing my income.

I have a couple of custom ideas in mind, however, my wife (the BOSS!) says I have to wait until I get back from overseas before I start spending my hard-earned money!

I am very impressed with the "HammerHawk." Knowing that ATC can turn out such a beautiful (and lethal!) piece of art makes me want to order my custom all the sooner!

Hopefully Justin will post a picture of the RR custom job once he has it striped and fit to a curly maple pole. If that won't convince you to buy one I don't know what will!

The hawk is no different in size. It has just got more aggressive grind lines and a couple of added grinds. It will fit both of the Kenny Rowe sheaths. If you are interested in one get with me via email and I will work out all of the details with you.

By all means you can wait till your refund check comes in. I will be out of the loop starting the 12-16 due to Shot show so there is no rush.

Thanks justin!!! I'm right now debating what type of wood handle I'd want with the hawk: Hickory, hawthorne, hawthorne Root, Or the maple???

I better ak the Hoodlums for help on this one!!!
