ATC's unmatched customer service

I think everyone here knows of ATC being stabbed in the back by people who used to manufacture some of their tomahawks. This caused a delay in my NG Ranger order - an extra 2 or so weeks to ship from the original 6. This small inconvenience is just that: small! And of course unavoidable because of the bad circumstances. Because of this small inconvenience Andy has offered and included several goodies and extra services free of charge! I didn't complain about it or anything; just like that the guy e-mails me telling me what he'll do to make up for the extra 2 weeks. All the while Customer Service (Suzanne Settle) answered my e-mails in a very informative, polite and no bs manner. Andy and Suzanne have been great to deal with and I've never had or heard of anyone having customer service that came even half that far. Andy and Suzanne, I thank you!

Just another testimonial on the morals and standards of ATC as well as the generosity and politeness of the owner and his staff.

Thanks again you guys! I wish every company acted like ATC! Life would be that much nicer.

If that wouldn't make me feel better about dumping a small fortune into more of our own equipment and employees, I don't know what would!

Rob..."thanks" is not enough.

Easy on the praise to Suzanne though...she'll use it against me! :D

One thing they can't copy is Andy's genuineness. I have seen him in action.

You hiring more people and buying more equipment for the benefit of your customers also shows what kinda guy you are! It makes me feel very confident buying stuff from ATC and just being able to sit back and not worry about it. I'm sure everyone here has gotten screwed by some companies. Did you get my e-mail, Andy?

Thanks!!!

I have to agree here. As a business man, you can't do any better then Andy. I want to relate a story here...
A while back (well over a year ago) Andy had a contest on the Busse forum to name the Bolo (after shock) that he had the exclusive on. Last Feb, the name was announced and I was the winner of the prize that was to be a Busse Lean Mean Street. Between the time the contest ended and the announcement of the winner, Busse had discontinued that model and Andy could no longer get it. Also, this was about the time Andy was discontinuing the sale of Busse merchandise to move on to the ATC thing. We have kept in touch off and on over the past year concerning the prize. This past summer, Andy asked me if I would consider one of the ATC tomahawks as the prize. I said "sure!" and left it at that. Just when I thought they had forgotten about me, a field grade vietnam tomahawk arrived at my door last Tuesday.
I want to thank Andy for not forgetting about me and for giving me such a wonderful prize! I have plenty of small belt knives, but this is my first tomahawk. It is one outstanding blade. Came to me sharp and ready to work. Living on a college campus, I have yet to have the oppertunity to use it properly and break it in. The hawk is very well built and I am proud to own one.
Andy, thanks again for such a wonderful gift. You guys are truely outstanding and a model for anyone breaking in to the knife business.

Wow, that's awesome. A Vietnam hawk, huh? That is really cool... I ordered a Vietnam Tac and can't wait for it. I've never played with a Vietnam hawk before but the testimonials are all full of praise! Sounds like you like yours and you're not even a hawk nut!!! It is definitely a prize I would treasure :D you lucky @$$. I have only talked with Andy a tad the past month or so and am still surprised to find a company who has such high standards, is so military friendly, generous and open. By open I mean making up for the small inconveniences with outstanding goodies and services. Already have 3 hawks from ATC ordered: NG Ranger, VN Tac (pending), RR Spike... All in 2 months... and I'm a young broke guy! Also my first Busse (Basic #9). Hit some money this last month :D but spent it all up on these wonderful toys. Can't wait to get 'em! I know they'll be in service with me when I'm a Ranger!

I know everyone else in this forum is getting bored with this thread: they already know Andy's great customer service... I apologize, but the concept of a company actually caring about the customer is a new thing for me... still in shock :D

Andy and the staff at ATC work very hard to provide great customer service.

Thanks guys

WOW!!!! Thanks so much for the kind words, Rob. I am truly sorry that you have to wait but it'll be well worth it!!! Thank you again for the kind words.

All that has been said is true to the core. If it has ever crossed your mind about buying a hawk let me save you some time and go right for the atc hawks anything else is a waste of time. They are properly balanced and tuff as bed rock. It may take some time getting your hawk, but you get what you pay for. That is very important if your buying a hawk intended for hard use.
