Iv'e been getting the display case ready, and breaking out the polish and the micro fiber cloths..3 full days of Bucking around !! I figure this years Blade show will be the best yet! I only set up at the 'Gator Show' in February and in Atlanta and last year I missed it..It's gonna be GRRRRRREAT!;)

Have fun bucksway!!! Hopefully we can see some pics of the display at the show, for those of us that can't make it!! ;)

Take lots of pictures for sure Clint!!! Have fun, I wish I was coming down but it's hard to get away from Vacation Land this time of year!!

Have a safe journey and one heck of a good time!Is 110 Dave gonna be there?Sure wish I could be there.

Here's an FYI for any of you that may be planning on displaying your knives at Atlanta. Several weeks ago, I received an email from a well know national knife supplier. He apparently had in excess of $13,000 worth of supplies stolen at Blade Show 2010 that occurred after hours. Apparently cleaning and maintenance people have access to the area after hours and there may be some issues with security as well. The following "Bottom Line" points are direct quotes from that email:

Bottom Line:
• F&W protects their vendors rather than their clients
• The security company has no vested interest in providing security
• Thieves know about the security problems at the Galleria
• Anything you leave at your table or booth is at risk
• You are responsible to protect your property

If you don't build a lock in your display, you make a mistake. When they start breaking the locked displays doors open I will quit going.

Right now I challenge some of you home bodies, decide right soon you are going next year and you are going to make a display. Someone can have my table, I will just come and hang out. There are even videos and articles on how to make a display. There are several who will make themselves available to consult. Life is short , you need to do this at least once.

I am going to NM to make a bigger Buck show with David Martin in Feb. 2012, anyone down this way needs to think about starting a Buck presence in the middle of the country. Read DMs article in the BCCI reporting on the show. More to come on this.

Thanks Doc for the info. on Blade. I take a two wheeler with stacked milk crates and carry a bunch of stuff in and out. One very important accessory is a thick foam cushion for the metal folding chairs provided.....ha

Thanks 300. Having a 2 wheel cart is important. As is enjoying yourself while displaying. Skyhorse has a good sense of humor and lightens things up. DM
