Hi guys. I would like to thank all who advised me to get the Condor Rodan in my last (first) thread -- it's a definite workhorse!!
I am now planning to get 2 traditional bowie type knives (I love large bowies!) from Atlanta Cutlery -- the Mountain Man Bowie and the Hunters Companion Bowie. I originally was planning to get the Natchez and Laredo bowies from Cold steel but seeing how I would probably be using these knives more for show than use, I was hesitant on shelling out the enormous amount of cash for those.
So I came upon these 2 bowies from atlanta cutlery and found the prices to be more appealing. My questions are: What is the quality of the steel in both bowies? And what to what extent in terms of functionality can these knives be used?
Thanks
